A healthy heart means a long, healthy life. At St. Bernardine Medical Center, our heart services program offers a range of care, beginning with prevention, that strives to keep each patient's heart beating strongly.

Our heart care services also include diagnostic services, interventional procedures like angioplasty, stent placement and more. Electrophysiology procedures and pacemaker placement are also offered as are new technologies. For those who require a surgical solution to their heart problem, such as open-heart surgery, you'll find the most advanced care being provided here. Our 37-bed state of the art critical care unit offers the patient and family a comfortable and secure environment for a quick recovery. Our 81-bed telemetry unit is bright and cheerful for those convalescing days after surgery. All procedures (including diagnostic testing, scanning and minimally invasive techniques) are performed by affiliated cardiologists, cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeons, and a highly skilled medical staff. The employees working in Cardiac Services are highly trained and offer our patients compassionate and caring service. These procedures take place in the hospital's renowned Inland Empire Heart & Vascular Institute.
